Come explore a RESTorative practice in the Yoga Silks. The Silks will be set low to the ground to better explore a full spectrum of RESTorative Yoga poses as taught the ‘alignment way.’
The beauty of practicing RESTorative yoga in the hammocks is more gentle and passive accessibility to decompression and elongation of the spine. Felicia believes that we are ‘only as young as our spines’ and has utilized the yoga hammock to help her heal from a major setback from a back and spinal injury.
Expect a deep Yoga Nidra in the Shavasana Cocoon to seal off the practice. It will feel like a warm hug from an old friend.
‘The flower buds when attended to’
Felicia is attentive, inspirational, and nurturing. She is a master, advanced level educator in the field of Yoga and Yoga Therapy for the past 21 years. She is Certified as a Yoga Therapist, Ayurveda Practitioner, Yoga Trapeze and Aerial Yoga Teacher. Her classes explore the more subtle aspects of the movement of Prana through posture work, mudra work and breathwork. Gentle hands-on assists will be optional to bring the student into that ‘Ah Ha’ moment of feeling. She is a continuing education provider through Yoga Alliance and CEUs can be attained by attending her workshops, classes, and events.
All Levels Welcome, but Students must be able to get up and down off the floor with ease.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
SUP+Yoga Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP)+ Yoga offers the student the ability to challenge themselves while learning how to paddleboard and then practicing Yoga on a paddleboard. The student will learn proper paddle techniques both on shore and in the water to ensure safety. We will then practice on the board what was taught before anchoring to experience a nature-infused yoga session on the open water. At the end of the Practice, free time will be offered for students to practice more of what they enjoyed before paddling back to shore.
SUP 101 will offer the student the ability to learn proper Stand Up Paddleboard techniques. The goal is for the student to learn how to safely paddle so they can feel confident enough to paddle on their own on any body of water. The A stroke, C stroke, how to turn and stop, how to get back on your board if you fall off and how to use your paddle correctly will all be introduced and practiced both on land and in the water. Each student will learn about their equipment and how to lift and transport with safety in mind, too. We will then take those lessons learned and apply them while having fun during a 'touring' on the waterfront.
WHAT TO BRING? You will get wet. Wear swim shoes. Dry bag if you are bringing anything of importance onto the board with you. Clothing that is dry wicking. Hips must be covered. A water bottle in a sealed container if you want to bungee to your board. Keep everything else in the car. A towel to dry off after class. Most all of my locations have a restroom to change out of your wet clothes after. Check with instructor. Optional: hat, sunscreen, bug spray
